Performance
Rating of Dutch Secondary Schools
How do secondary schools in the Netherlands compare, in terms of
performance? To what degree is its average central exam output higher
or lower than a predetermined minimum standard? And if we look at the
entrance level of the pupils, can we speak of added value or of lost
potential? The annual School
Performance Rating, now published by De Volkskrant,
is designed to give
answers to these questions.
The School Performance Rating uses publicly available data provided by
the Dutch Education Inspectorate. On this website you will find all the
information needed on the annual School Performance Rating, and how the
calculation of the various scores comes about. It is also possible to
download a more comprehensive overview of all the data.
